    Long time no see!

Okay, so my supercharger's nosecone bearings are about done, so I got a question: would now be a good time to upgrade my supercharger? I don't have any other upgrades, but I'm ready to take the plunge!

You could upgrade or replace your charger with the same or replace just the bearings.

Totally up to you and how much you'd like to spend. A replacement Gen 3 is probably the lowest cost.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Go here:

    Rolling Performance Home

You can rebuild it for about $100 or spend more if you do the upgraded parts.

If its the needle bearings its much more labor intensive but you are saying snout bearings so it isn't that bad.

The stuff at Rolling performance is cheaper from what I priced out. The coupler is not cheaper but the snout bearings kit is cheaper. The ZZP kit doesn't have the oil included and with the oil is over $80.

"Each kit includes 2 OEM quality C3 fit high speed ball bearings, 1 premium nose seal, 1 tube of Permatex anaerobic gasket sealant and 2 bottles of GM supercharger oil." $65

    its probably the coupler.

replace that first and see if it goes away.

2 bottles of GM S/C oil is $10 from the dealer.
