to the OP,
I would go the turbo route and just go easy with launching until you can build the tranny. You could get a good chunk of cash for selling the Gen V top end.
I didn't claim to be an expert. Far from it. But u seem to have taken that drag thing a bit further then it was intended....so yet again no turbos in the 3's? It hasent been done (not saying it couldn't be) which until it is the only point I attempted to make stands. That there's not one that fast. Step off your high horse, no one thinks your that cool. We'll maybe a few peopleanywho sorry to the op for takin up so much room. Yet again what ever you decide the knowledge needed to make it work is on this site
Some of you guys are the whiniest little *****es in the Wbody community. Argue about anything and everything rather than give information based from experience.
So nobody has any experience with the twin charge setup? I was curious if it was a best of both worlds setup or just a waste of time.
From what I understand, the only advantage the SC has over a turbo is that there is no lag. I know you can run a smaller turbo that won't have noticable lag but the efficiency is less than with a bigger turbo. Which is why I am curious about this setup. Seems like the SC would eliminate lag while running a large turbo for the higher RPM performance.
Is there any reason why this setup would not be "street friendly?" I really thought it sounded like a good idea.
