so i got the car running, currently on the stock injectors, i'll get 42#'s before it hits the streets but, besides the loop of the cam, im getting fluctuating rpm's as you can see in the video. I am running a breather and i made a hole in the lim for proper pcv. Is this a vacuum leak? is it because im running a breather? It was so bad the car stalled a few times when i put it from Park to Drive. Any ideas?

    raise idle?

Yup lift is pegged at 16.4 you have a big vac leak check for any hoses you missed. I dont think a breather would cause that bad of a leak.

i'll have to go through it again. I did delete the vacuum T on the lim so now i have it 90* back through the boost gauge T then to the map sensor with a T to the fuel pressure regulator

would this be the cause of my problem?

So you go LIM to T going to boost gauge and map and another T at the map going to the FPR? If so that is fine.

I don't get how you could drill it properly for pcv but yet have a breather on the front. Put the oil cap back on, if it starts sucking or you notice vaccum when you take the cap off, then put the breather on.

You can also put your hand over the hole, and if the PCV isn't functioning properly, you'll immediately feel a vacuum pull on the palm of your hand.

With a functioning pcv, a breather is a vacuum leak.

Think about how pcv works... I'd cap it for the time being.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

your car is hunting for idle, its your tune.

it sounds to be like its idling around where its supposting to 850, but its hunting a bit from the cam install.

My ss did the same thing

who tuned it? sometimes it can't even be tuned out, id say it can on your car. its not going to hurt anything. My buddy who bought the SS had it retuned and got the tune worked out solid, but when its cold it still hunts a little. But it also has a 92mm aftermarket maf witch alot of people say is **** but i never had any problems with the car.

So yeah, who tuned your car? what kinda maf do you have.
