So my car was acting weird today, it felt like it was lacking power. So after scanning it, I found the P0300 code and noticed that it was pulling 4 degrees of timing at WOT, which was very weird.

I had replaced one of the coils a few weeks back, but the other two were probably still the stock ones since it still had the ones with numbers on them for each cylinder.

Problem is that they only had these "bluestreak" ones at the autoparts store lol:

They only had 2, so I couldn't at least get the third one to match the others as they also have a different pattern at the top...

Now I have a good reason to paint them red.

The bottom line is that the car is running strong again. The thing that puzzles me is that I thought that when one of the coils went bad, one or the two cylinders plugged to it would start to miss fire, I mean I thought they either worked or not, being electrical components. I never thought that they could just get old and loose some of their edge.
