Makes a nice noise, but isn't doing a damn thing for you performance wise.

Not quite, no. You could gut the stock airbox out just a bit and have a much better intake than the one he purchased off of Ebay. Not to mention all that bad ass hot air he's sucking in now. Everyone knows thats great for performance.

If I remember right the eBay intakes use a 3" tube. No go for performance.

I have bad luck. Its probably god punishing me for a real bad thing I have been doing lately.

Hopefully hot air doesn't cause you to get KR.

I wonder if I could remove my air-box lid and get better MPG? Just wondering incase I go on a trip or something. It would probably do a little better since it would be getting hot air.

Yes that intake lowers your performance. Your getting lots of air but its very very hot air. Which is very very bad.

If you start modding around intake you will probably get KR. KR=boom.

new tubing and run it farther way from the engine. its sitting right over the cross over pipe right now. that puts off a lot of heat

i dont think metal tubing is the best way to go. they seem to get the hottest, unless its think. but that thin stuff just seems to get pretty hot. i would get some rubber hoses and try and get it as close to the fender as you can

you should be able to find everything at home depot. if you get some that is bendable you wont have to worry about anything (because its not going to be a strait shot) but if not i think its a 22* bend then that should lead you right to the fenderwall right behind the head light. maybe you can get a little peice that is bendable and attach that to the throttle body. bend it into posision then run the rest of your piping after that. if the cone can fit in the fenderwall that would be the best. just make sure you have your plastic cover on at the bottom of the car to keep to much dirt from the road from getting in it.

i got it figured out yes the cone fits BARELY but she fits. im going to leave the current piping and from where the chrome tube ends instead of going dirrect into the cone im going to get a bendable tubing from the chrome pipe to the cone and direct it towards the fender wall cut out making a custom fenderwall intake =]
