It's just hard to give you suggestions on what to do when we don't know if you already have it done.....

If you have headers already, but you haven't strapped a giant cone intake filter on your throttlebody, do that. Then tune it for a smaller pulley and swap the pulley (and spark plugs).

If that's not enough, find some use 1.8 or 1.9 rockers.

sorry about the unknown mods, the only thing i really know is the exhaust, which i plan on changing out again anyways. i will have to see if i can get a hold of the previous owner tomorrow and find out. as far as im concerned hes done something internally says the dealer. basic bolt ons is what im looking for now, and im positive the only thing done was the exhaust and the filter.

As said, if its a drop in K&N filter, replace it with the biggest damn Cone filter you can.

Get a modular Supercharger pulley setup. Port the supercharger, and the throttle body. That'll help drop some heat/knock, and give better airflow in. And better throttle response too.
After a pulley drop and some colder plugs, you're really looking at either getting into a Cam or rockers to make more power. Or an intercooler..

Just look over the Safely Modding your 3800 again, and it will explain everything you could ever want.

BTW you dont really need to be too concerned with internals with the 3800, as far as pistons/rods/block/ect are concerned. These ain't hondas.
