Check everything because it can be a very simple issue because when this stuff was happening to me I went out and bought a MAF replaced it and still didn't fix the problem the. After that I follow the vacuum line from the TB and saw it was just disconnected, so I return the brand new MAF put on the one I had on of course after cleaning it and it ran fine. These cars are tricky sometimes the littlest things make these things go bananas. Keep us updated to what happens
these cars are DEFINITELY tricky. just look around and dont give up man. let us know if we can help![]()
Ya thanks guys I am taking it one step at a time and trying to be systematic. I just did a oil change it was scheduled so figured it could help.
But something else is definantly acting up. I ran out of gas again for the second tank in a row. My fuel consumption has increased and my range is dropping pretty steadily. My fuel gauge is broken so im left gauging it from the trip and DIC as best as I can but for some reason my trips are decreasing. Any thought on what this could be?
Im defiantly swapping out the pugs figured that would be worth it anyways, totally forgot to look at the vac lines while I did my oil change didnt dawn on me. Ill do that too, but yeah know what ya mean about tricky. My 01 has little issues here and their and its hard to pin point what they are. Thanks again for the help ill keep ya posted if the problem continues or if I get it resolved.
Ok so I finally have resolution to this problem!
It was the MAF I switched out new plugs and the problem persisted and so then the next logical step was to just shell out the money for a new MAF. She runs great and shes already gettin better MPGs
Thanks everyone for all your help really appreciate it!
