Where can I find the correct plastic upper intake water elbow, my 97 only has the upper, and it's different from the other years ,which have an upper and lower elbow. Does anyone need an upper for 98+ years. Thanks

Are you talking about the coolant elbows?

You can get them in the HELP! Section at any local auto parts stores.

Thats what I have, it's out of alignment by about a 1/4inch with my intake, too long one side of the elbow. Their must be a different one for the tensioner with the metal elbow on bottom.

Problem solved : Duh , half of my old elbow was still inside the hole , Thanks for reassuring me it was the part though, or I would of kept searching for the same part all over town.

I was just about to post asking if you got all the old elbow out. Glad you solved the problem.

Cool.. 97 and 98 W's, along with 96-99 H bodies had the metal elbow for the lower as part of the tensioner assembly.

Some folks pull on the tensioner and break the timing cover.

Me.. I got the elbows, and then spent a ton of time driving around to stores looking for an o-ring that would work on that lower elbow. About a year later I looked at the package and smacked myself in the forehead. The o-ring was on the elbow I wasn't using.

BTW the Napa number is 660-1736
