Hey I was wondering if any1 here can give me a good diagram i.e instructions about how to change the 2 coolant elbows on a 04 gand prix gtp. I really want to avoid taking it to the shop since i have been looking on the internet about this and people say its kinda easy to do (if ur mechanicaly inclined). I really wanna avoid taking it to the shop and being screwed over by something that i can do myself and waste money on labor charges. I am pretty good at car repair if i have good instructions. I already have the 2 elbows for the replacement.

Thanks a whole bunch to any1 that can lend a hand.

Thanks alot this is the only one i saw so far that actually has pics lol. So i guess there is no way to avoid not taking off the serpentine belt. Not thats its a big deal but i've seen some that dont have anything about taking off the belt.

Do you have the diagram for the serpentine belt reapply to?

You can try without taking off the SC belt but it would just make life easier. Its a simple twist of a 15mm socket and a breaker bar on the tensioner and the belt pops off.

This is exactly what I was looking for, complete with part numbers!. I replaced the lower intake gaskets and must have broken the upped elbow in the process because coolant started leaking from there when I was refilling it. I figured if i was going to have a problem that is where it would be. Hopefully that's the only problem I have.

I've found every answer I've needed from this site without posting. so here's a post just to say thanks!
