i was looking around under the hood my my recently acquired 97 gtp. i popped open the radiator, and it has a orange color to the coolant. but what puzzled me was i opened the reservoir and its gray, and feels like grease on your finger....car doesnt over heat, or smell like its burning, temp gauge only gets to around 150ish. but still blows hot heat and what not. any ideas on what this could be? i checked the oil and its still clear and not milky. i just dont know where to start with this car. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I wouldnt worry about it too much...my coolant is nice and orange but my overflow bottle is like brownish orange nasty chit....i think its cuz coolant doesnt go in there very often and the coolant that is in there isnt sealed very good.

I was thinkin about it but ive never got around to it i wonder how hard it is to remove the overflow bottles on 97s and 98s....99+ are a piece of cake i would assume.

Depends on your intake first off. It's not as easy as 99+ but isn't hard to take off. If you took it off I'd just put a 99+ on
