Don't really need much tuning for ported heads as much as you would for E85...plus...it helps kill knock just about as well as E85 does...

You should! BUT you better teach yourself how to tune and get some bigger injectors B/C with a higher compresson motor, cam, headers and pulley you WILL need larger injectors. might as well go with 65#ers.

If your not going e85 get some 39# ford mustang injectors (these are pretty cheap) too. they plug right into the 04+ harness and with our fuel pressure its almost the same as 42# injectors.

Just your normal 730whp 4dr family car.

Same here it was after I did a 100mph run to find out if my tune took the limiter off. It burnt the end off the spark plug. No Damage to the motor was done. I had a bad missfire though. Changed the plug and its been fine ever since.

I hate how you guys assume a engine is toast after someones car eats a plug esp burning the tip off. If the plug is smashed well yeah that's not good.

Good luck on your build man. Looks like alot of fun!

But, you've never had the head off...so you don't know. You can't say no damage was done because you don't really know...see what I'm gettin' at? Get a borescope and check it out that way then.

We assume...because how else is the tip of a plug going to be totally gone...either there is something is a foreign object that smashed it to oblivion...from...example...a piece of piston...OR...the temps in the combustion chamber are so hot they melted the plug...and that wouldn't be to great for it either...just sayin'.
