I just price checked one of these parts, it was $94 at advanced....Autozone FTW!!

and nah dude, our motors are basically the same, there are a few small changes in a series II vs a series III, otherwise pretty much everything is the same...I dunno the exact spec diffrences...

Thanks again man, i'mma go jump on it...

Wow, that's crazy if there's that much of a price difference...Yeah, I mean I figured this kind of stuff would be the same, but I didn't know and I didn't wanna steer you in the wrong direction so...No problem, good luck

Great, I'm glad it worked for you...well there's two "lines" that run into the engine, one is the plastic elbow, the other is an aluminum "inlet" idk what the right term is, but that's what I broke. Since I replaced the whole assembly I had to reorder brackets for the heater hoses too because I couldn't get the old ones off..

I know your new and all, but the link you provided didn't even suggest to replace the Coolant Elbows, which were the problems in this thread originally... which also btw was started back in 2010, and ended this january.

We do however have a How-To replace the LIM Gaskets if you searched... including pictures like the ones you posted... and the part numbers too.

Anywho, glad you solved the problem, thanks for the extra link, and welcome

I know it's an old post, but I came across this post with a recent issue. In my blog, I do talk about "Water started pouring from broken Upper and Lower Heater Bypass Pipes" and have a link to a great video someone else created for youtube. I hope it helps others.
