True intake air temp will (Colder is denser), Not a fake resistor temp change. You have to remember the actual air density isnt changing nor is anything except for what the PCM thinks the temp of the air is. The fueling is changed by the colder air reaching higher Hz levels. This will not happen.

The air temp/density staying the same and the IAT giving a false reading is what this chip/mod is all about. So YES, I flipping know the air density is really changing. Everything you just said is all corn-fused. Why don’t you take step back, and flipping read what I have written? And then do a little bit of fact checking and get back to me on what conceptual errors I might have made. And stop freaking implying that I don’t know about something I never even mentioned nor implied in my comments. /End rant.

Dude, What you said wasnt true. The intake air temp resistor WILL NOT EFFECT FUELING AT ALL. Sorry you dont understand this. It will effect timing. If you want to know what errors you made. Pretty much your entire first post wasnt true. Sorry

Please explain to me How the intake air temp sensor itself will controll fueling? Maff numbers will be identitical, Map numbers Identicial before and after the "chip". No need to get Butt hurt or run a rant because you're incorrect

Wow, a whole two minutes of fact checking.

You are correct IAT will affect timing, however I never mentioned this earlier just to kept things simple. However, the IAT has a more significant function to provide a (for lack of a better word) correction signal to the MAF to provide the PCM a more true air flow rate. With the IAT giving a false low temperature reading, the MAF is tricked into thinking there is more air flow than there really is. Hence the PCM will add more fuel to compensate, resulting in a rich mixture. However as I briefly mentioned earlier, the PCM will eventually address this because the O2 sensor will notice the A/F being off, and cut back the injector pulse width to correct the A/F ratio.

I guess what I’m saying is, you are wrong.
