No but I figured since the wires are msd and less then a year I jut figured they would be fine plus it costs just as much to replace the coils as it does for the wires

Coils...you can get some from a junkyard or Ed Morad @ Morad Parts Company - 3800 Motors, Transaxles, & Stock Parts

Wires...autozone has lifetime warranty duralast wires for what...$30? I don't see how that's expensive at all.

Damn 30 bucks really. I was thinking they were gunna be like at least 60 or more. But any ways I replaced the plugs today from AT 606 xp's to AT 606 double platinum mainly cuz they were 3 bucks cheaper then the xp's and did the trick car runs great at the right gap. I'm gunna continue to monitor it though and replace some things mainly for preventive maintenance. So far as it stands on the to do list is replace the passenger side cv shaft, find a rear seat, and nasty bug reared its head today when I went to turn the vent on my lights cutout on the dash and the DIC was black but when I turned it to off everything came back on. Oh and also no matter where the car is parked or the time of day all of my lights turn on like if at night I'm guessing a sensor with that one but I think I may have a short some where in ac circuit

No not at all after working primarily working on 2 trans ams with an ls1 taking the plugs out of the gtp was a walk in the park. Just make sure you have 1/4" drive 5/8 spark plug socket and a 3" 1/4" drve extension and you"l be set. The back ones are a bit harder to see but the last plug is practically behind the o2 sensor and I recommend to not use the extension with that one.

i just bought a 97 gtp and im kinda having the same issues. Mine when i get on it, kinda feels like an exhaust leak almost.. it has a borla exhaust and the supercharger was not hooked up for about 50k miles because the idler pulley was burnt up twice and the owner did not want to replace it. im going to try to change the plugs and wires but, has anyone had exhaust issues like that with aftermarket?

I just fixed my stutter issue on light acceleration ,,, it was a short,,, previous owner replaced the plugs and wires,,, and a few weeks that's when I bought it,,, then later on the metal on the o2 sensor got hot was shorting out on the rear drivers side plug wire, as they were touching. So I fixed the plug wire and tied them back from each other. thanks for all the help anyhow.

What does it do when your crusing at highay speeds? I chased a "shutter" for a couple weeks and then my tranny gave out. 140k is close to the usual tranny life.
