hey my ssm90 kit awaits to be put on my car. I got a gtp belt setup for it, and i have a stock gtp pulley (3.5 correct me if im wrong.) Would that pulley be fine? My mods will be 2.5" dp, ubend delete, mufflers, CAI, ported LIM and s/c. If its too small i would just order a ssm90 pulley from zzp, if i did i would get the 3.8. On their site it says all ssm90 pulleys the same as a gtp pulley .3 smaller? or is that bs? Im just tryin to make sure here i dont want my KR to go though the roof. thanks

many find you need headers just to run the top swap with the stock 3.8" pulley...

leave the stock one on but get headers.

3.6 is about the best you can expect from a top swap with headers as your only mod.

I'm running a 3.8 on a top swap with headers, ported TB and S/C.

Yea 3.6 is what I had in mind, where the gains noticeable compared to the 3.8? Also how's the ported TB? I've been wondering on if I should get one or not.

You attempt to smooth out the MAF hump in the TB.

You'll need a street tune if you do it.

    Helps with throttle response.

What timing and 02's? OP 3.8 with stock mani's, 3.6 with plog DP setup and 3.5/3.6 with headers. intercooler or cam after that piont and larger injectors and pump rewire.

From the sounds of it, you are looking to just run a regular pulley on a ssm90 kit?

The ssm90 kit uses special pulleys. You cannot use stock pulleys as you need the belt setup for that. You would need the balancer or crank pulley from a gtp and the idlers/ tensioners/brackets to run a supercharger belt.

I would start off with a 3.8 pulley or higher and go from there.

    Get a wideband.

    980 is probably bad though...

My car would knock when 02's went over 960. You can knock from to much fuel.

Wonder if you have an exhaust leak near the sensor tossing off the reading?
