Is it really worth it? I see 3800performance.com has em for like 70. I get really mixed reveiws. Saying it was better for carburated systems.

The largest benefit I've seen from these things is a coolant leak. If you want a coolant leak..this is the product for ya.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Or if you plan on spraying methanol pre-blower...but otherwise...negative. Go get the U-Bend deleted for the same price and read the thread in my signature. And maybe save for a new bottom end...since that's whats your gonna need with a 3.1" and no supporting mods.

I'm in the process of doing more. I also have a catback exhaust already. Bout to install an intake. What other "Supporting mods" should I put on my car for the 3.1 pulley?

Dude, I'm pretty sure PLENTY of people have told you what is needed for a 3.1"...I know I have...I have a built low compression motor with a huge cam and ported heads...and I am running a 3.1"...with more room to play, sure...but a 3.1" isn't for you...MAYBE a 3.6...MAYBE. But I doubt it...you NEED stock size...or mods...like headers and a tune for one. But read my damn thread first guy.

Oh....please swap out the MSD's for stock coils. Otherwise you'll end up chasing a misfire issue.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Agreeded. Prolly the first thing I did when I purchased the car last year is the MSD stuff.

MSD Ignition Coil Interface Block, GM Dual Tower Coils

From what I understand without that interface it's useless to use MSD coils.

I also have a 6AL box I was going to put on my Camaro, but never got around to it.. Now I'm considering using it on my GTP. Is it worth it?

Wouldnt you need to use the interface block with an actual DIS 4 ICM for there to be any point?

Running that 3.1 you midas well just run an open cone instead either way your motor isn't going to last long put on a 3.8 then worry about an intake, tb spacers are a waste btw

Good thing I actually have a spare snout with a 3.8 on it. I also have a nother spare SC with a 3.8 on it.
Alright thanks for the info on the spacer. Won't be getting it. Hahah.
What about them stupid "Tornado" things that propel in the intake. Do those really help at all? I seen a tune thing saying that the car actually got better HP(Which I can see being bogus).

    not at all.

    swap snouts say tonight.

    your car will thank you.

If somehow you need s/c fluid and you cant any from the dealer, synthetic 5w30 can be used in place of it.
