Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
revving to 6500 on stock rods is asking for trouble.
Limit that to 6200 or so unless thats just your transmission slipping.
Also try to limit your logging to just before and just after you go WOT. Its a bit much to scroll through.
In the first scan, are you sure your wideband is reading 10:1?
Your narrowbands are actually really low, even for an intercooled car.
I dont really understand how you're getting any knock at all unless its from being lean...
You should be able to drop to a lower pulley as well as run more timing.
I'd recalibrate your wideband and make sure the O2 sensor for it isn't nearly out of life and that you have no exhaust leaks.
It just seems like you're lacking fuel, boost and timing.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
Your 02's look low, Im highly suspect of your 10.0 AFR wot. Your timing is way low. Are you sure your W/b is reading proper? Id personally bump up 7-11500 Hz 2 percent and bump up the timing to 17-18. But first you need to check your wideband and whats going on with that. Missed matts post, But yeah I pretty much Mirrored what he said. With timing that low your EGT's skyrocket quick. Which isnt good. Im sure your car also feels like it bogs down quite a bit. Uping the timing will help with that, but first we need to confirm your fueling.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
Hey I said 2.8"...so yaaaaaaa
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
he needs to sort out his wideband first.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
Nah, screw that...2.8" is race.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
ok ill look into that calabration of the wb... the end of life i dought its brand new but what is life span's of wb o2 sensors? i figured that it was calabrated when cruzeing it bounces around 14ish to 15ish... so i figured it was accurate.. being it "avrages" 14.7ish.. if im not mistakeing you guys are saying narrow band is "reading low" from my understanding isnt that rich? or am i compleatly backwards? and i dont belive i have any exhaust leaks expecaly at a wot for the exhaust pressure i would guess would prevent air getting in causeing a fause lean reading... my nunarrow band is still in bank one(pre "cat") and wide band is in the post cat bung and i would guess if i had any considerable exhaust leaks i would see the wide band would show a higher number (lean avraget) than my narrowband. i dont want to sound like i know it all but PLEASE correct me if my logic is flawed... thanks for the input on the high rpm on stock rods didnt know... i have a post in the pcm tuneing section "stock ballancer" with my shift rpms and mph to show what i have currently but never got a responce to what was considered "abuse" to the engine/transmisson. thanks guys your input is awsome... the tuneing world is something i never got trained on.. so the logic is there but the do's and don't i am unshure of... i am a mechanic and know my way around fixing broken parts not the computer aspect.. lol
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
nope no cat... and pcm had had the o2 deleated as well as the cat test deleated. that wiki i have poked around thew but havent had the time to sit down and read... but still makeing some progress
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
If your wideband is within 10 inches of a exhaust leak it will read off
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
isnt ur year one of the years that u couldnt "delete" cat and o2 codes? just set to non report.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
the cat test is difficult to delete.
Thats the issue.
I dont know how you did it but i'd like to know.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
Just looked at the scans again. Indeed fuel trims max positive at idle. You have a vac leak or your PCM is running the 02 Diagnostic full time. Scan Idle Air counts at idle and post.

Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
paul with prj did it and he used tiny tuner... as far as what exactly he did i don't know... i am sure some where it is posted or can be found.. as for my narrow band and my wideband readings... i am looking at my first scan i see my narrow is reading high 800s and low 900's showing a extreamly rich condition right? and my narrow band will peg at 10.0 thus showing a extreamly rich condition at WOT... but if you look at the point where i am cruseing at 11% throttle at 62mph narrow is bouncing around but looks like makes 450MV the average thus being stoichiometric correct? and if my wideband is bouncing from 13's to 15's making about 14.7 the middle being stoichiometric wouldn't that make my wideband "calibrated"?
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
running pig rich at idle is a symtom of deleting those codes.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
Narrowbands are not very accurate at all WOT. But to be reading 880MV(lean) and your AFR on the wideband peging 10.0 It seems off? Typically you want 930MV. Now You are also Slightly knocking on a 3.2 pulley with a measly 14WOT timing. I was running a equivilent to a 3.2 pulley on my GT with 17-18 WOT timing no knock with a Stock cam, SS intercooler. SOmething seems off on your setup.

So is a vac leak.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
lower than that 905-915 because he's cammed as well.
Re: 8psi with a 3.2 normal???
will this be easyier if i posted my tune to see if some thing is WAAAAY off??
