my car just started randomly dieing after i did the f-body upgrade so far just when i'm gently braking from a slow speed . It doesn't give any signs like shuddering & no check engine light is thrown. Any ideas?

forgot to add that it starts back up w/no problems
vacuum leak?
I was kinda thinking that, but it happend to me once friday and it was fine till today wouldn't a vacuum leak be more consistant? and hoe big of a vacuum leak does it take to stall a car? Could the idle control valve, or whatever its called, be the problem?
i knew a gp having this problem...i want to say it was the ignition switch or eic or something like that..forgot what it is called exactly...do a search i think it is some where on here...but the gp was somebody i knew a long time ago. and never found the problem...but i saw something on here recently
Well my car randomly does that in fact it did it yesturday, about once a month, it will start up but it will die, you have to give it gas or it will just automaticly die, and if i drive around alittle bit it slowly stays alive, it will idle really low but it wont die and as soon as tht happens all i do is shut it off and turn it back on and its fine its really weird, im guessing dirty maf. Aso every time i get in it to start it up i have to pump the gas a few times once it turns on or it will just die.
Ryan, yours sounds like a dirty/sticking IAC.
Most likely, i gotta find some time to get that fixed.
Now where is the IAC located ? so i can check it and clean it if i need to.

Ok i know where it is, do i just wipe it down with a towl or something.
Some throttle body cleaner and a paper towel. Take care not to move the pintle (meaning, don't push on it too hard). This is what it should look like clean:
next time it does it watch your tach and see what it does. let me kno cause if it goes crazy it could be a SLIGHT possability that you Crankshaft position sensor is going out.
Ok thanks for the pic, im gonna try something first, im just gonna unhook the maf and start it up and c if that will get rid of the starting problem then ill cleanthe iac.
my car idles a little ruff when i first crank it up. do you think that could be my problem too..and do i have to take it out to clean it?? cant just spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body??
Been having the same problem with my GP. Randomly shuts off like the ignition was cut off. Radio and gear indicator on instrument cluster is the only thing still on. But like you said, starts right back up with no prob. I've kinda ruled everything else out except the ignition switch. Hope to get it swapt out soon. If I do, I'll let you know my findings. Or if you get it done first, let me know. I know its going to be a long process for us, seeiing how it's not a constant thing. I'll add you to my friends list to keep in better contact with you. Maybe together and with everyone elses help, we can get this problem fixed.
I forgot to mention that this all started after I replaced my coil packs. With new coil packs, could it affect a weak area of the ignition switch or something?
^^ you could have a bad one from the start
I have a random stalling issue too, but I have a surging before the stall......
