I just received my "3.4" pulley, but it it does look smaller... probably a 3.2 what do you guys think? Also it's an 8 rib instead of 6. Would I be able to run an 8 rib on a 6 rib belt?

OMG! LOL at the tittle XD now it really looks STUPID. Thanks keyboard...

Checked, but it doesn't have any engravings. Also, just by looking at the picture below, you can clearly see that the distance between the bolt holes and the end of the pulley is bigger:

Sigh... I think I'll just install this one for now since I only have the pulley tool for rental and order the REAL 3.4 and change it when I get it. I really don't think I can run a pulley that small with my current setup.

ive heard you take string and run it around the inside groove of the pulley/measure and divide by 3.14 to get the accurate pulley size. Hope this helps

you can also measure the pulley diameter, which he did. pulley looks like a 3.1 to be honest.

I get 3.1... x.x, I assume as long as I don't go hard on the engine I can run the 3.1 until I get the 3.4 from ZZP. Right?

unless you just went "no belt"

did you already put the modular hub on?

Like you could do it... but you basically cant go WOT else it might very well blow up.

You could put the pulley on...just if you go into boost it is time to pray. You'd be better staying with the stocker and complain to ZZP and get your 3.4"

Yeah, well i bought this pulley at clubgp forums and ordered the mps hub and the puller separately from ZZP, this just got shipped last tuesday. I'll just order the 3.4 mps pulley today from ZZP and return the 3.1 one to the guy in clubgp.

    Thanks for your input guys.

I would be pissed. There's nothing like waiting 4 days for a new part and have it be the wrong fit.

Wait...you bought it knowing it was a 3.1"? Did he not tell you what size it was? I'd make him pay for his stupidity...typical CGP BS.

No, I confirmed first that it actually was a ZZP MPS 3.4" pulley. He said it was correct so I moved on with the transaction. I sent him a PM earlier, but haven't received a response yet.

I'm still guessing he'll probably reply when he gets home.

his user name there is 2000GTX and let me quote his confirmation PM:
"Yes, it is a ZZP 3.4 pulley with no hub. I can do $50 shipped for it to Mexico. "

I would tell him to refund you all of your money (including shipping rates). If he doesn't open a claim with PayPal. Make sure you save all the messages and take some screen shots for PayPal to look at. But hopefully he's cool.
