Ok first off I have read a few posts on this issue and I am getting a P0300 code, I know some think that it could the ICM, clogged cat, plugs, wire's and so forth. So you know I just finished doing my top swap with the added extra's of a cam, headers and FWI mind that I still need a final tune. Everything seemed fine and a freind of mine heard a misfire which he was right, two plug wires were crossed to the wrong cylinder, sounded better after that but my scan gauge still reads P0300. I installed my plugs with a gap of 53 could this be one of the reasons why it's misfiring still. Oh and I swapped my ICM from the orignal motor if this helps any.

Will a tune eliminate that code? Just curious as I'm going cammed soon.

you can turn the code to no report, so it wont set a check engine light.

otherwise there really is no way to tune the car so it wont misfire randomly at idle when you have a cam.

If it's not misfiring anymore, but the code is stuck on, can't you just unhook the battery for a couple of hours so that it will clear?
