i have a high pitched whine when i get into the boost, have the normal supercharger sound and this with it, kinda hard to explain but it doesnt sound good, i just got the whole motor back in the car and all back together, the supercharger and intake thats on it is opened up for a intercooler that i dont have yet so its put together without it, any ideas what it could be?

i was thinking maybe the alternator too? on the supercharger i used gasket that came from wbody store, its a blue greenish color, garlock? i just put it in dry and torqued the bolts down to spec, should i maybe pull the gasket back out and spray the permatex copper gasket stuff on it and bolt it back down?

if belt is off sc it doesnt do it, so its something to do with it, and its giving me trouble as far as tuning it goes, and only makes noise when into the boost, i am getting a new gm supercharger gasket from work tomarow and i will take the garlock junk out and try that instead

I bet you thats the issue...I literally just fixed a car last week (Lsick7's) that did that too...he had a bad blower gasket and a new one (along with new LIM gaskets because he needed it) cured it right up.

good to hear, also i had the car jacked up from the drivers side running to try to find my exhaust leak and oil came out of the end of the supercharger out the middle of my pulley, i have a zzp mps on it and it just has the plastic push in thing instead of the original bolt/breather that screws in, is it normal for oil to come out the middle of that when it is jacked way up like that?

Well if it is tilted down that means your snout isn't sealed correctly...we put a actual snout bolt in there on his car since it did the same thing and it doesn't leak now.

yea link wont work? but anyways i changed the sc gasket today, the garlock junk i could see where it had a mess of oil all over spread around the pcv hole where it leaked. i cleaned it all and but the gm gasket in dry, no sealer or anything, i hope it sealed, i didnt think anything should go on it so i just put it on and bolted it down, sounded good in park ill see what its like when i drive it tomarrow
