    Found a complete top swap kit for $250 and the guys about 2hrs from me. My blower is prolly gna be up for sale soon if I buy this one.

    headers will be part of the build already! what other mods would i need to be able to run a cam reliably?

    mods?...depends on how high you want to rev it and what driveabliity you want. I could tell you to get #150 valve springs and get a stage 4 cam...thats sick. Is it right for you? PROBABLY not LOL.

    I say XP or S1X...very doable and daily driveable...you need a cam install kit from ZZP...thats the easy part...and the P0300 random misfire code removed from the PCM. I'd get Crow #105's for the valve springs and retainers to go along with them. You'll probably want a new timing chain and dampner while you are in there...or at the very LEAST a new dampner. I'd say with a XP and headers...a start up on a 3.5" should be a cake walk.

    if you end up finding a tuner in toledo, let me know. i'm planning on doing the same kinda things on the same time frame, and i'd totally drive two hours to get a good tune

    I emailed accelerated performance today and asked if they do tuning. Theyve got a beasty supra they built in house so I know they atleast know what there doing. yes it does drive and has been built for 2 or 3 yrs now.

    BUT...you don't use HP Tuners to tune a supra...and these cars don't like tons of boost like 2JZ-GTE's do, so keep that in mind.

    that is true. I know they do deal with all diff sorts of cars. So Im hoping theyll be able to tune GPs
