Hmmmm ummmmmmmmm ya. Read the thread I typed. Safely modding your 3800.
stock heat range copper plugs, brand of your choice.
omg...
I hope you were kidding.
I'll make it simple for you, go to your local auto parts store ask for six "Autolite 606 spark plugs".
It is pretty agreed apon that Autolites or NGKs are the best for our engines. But to be honest it really doesn't make any difference what plugs us non-modded guys use, as long as you stay in the correct heat range.
autolite AL606
or an 06 honda CR-V, they're only $22 a piece at the dealer.![]()
Get some for a 3v 5.4l triton, they are about 6" long.
For god's sake don't use Platinum or iridium plugs!
Please read this thread...

For God's sake why not Platinum or Iridium? I just changed to Autolite Iridiums and gapped them .060 like I keep hearing people say you shouldn't do, gap them please people (It's easy with the proper gapper not the slide type). I ran Autolite Double Platinums for 75 thousand miles. The Iridiums feel smoother and the Power is noticeable as far as plugs go. I'm a mechanic in the real world and any technology that increases the life of a part means less chance of breaking things by having to replace them quicker.
if youre beating on your car then you shouldnt be running anything but copper plugs. platinum and irridium are cool, but just because they last longer doesnt mean you should use them. plug changes are very easy.
You could also go with the Autolite 605's...Just a bit colder plug...
but WHY?
all that does is ruin fuel economy.
