OMG!!!!!!!!! sounds like....rod knock.....and LACK of piston. I know that sound very well....
YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
check compression on all cylinders, and drain your oil, check it for metal. sounds like ya need a new shortblock.
Holy sh!t that sucks can you tell where the sounds coming from supercharger, bottom end and so on
yea engines toast sounds like build time
First things first, check your spark plugs. If one is smashed, well....
(going off of other replies, can't hear the vid here at the office)
Yea the vid sounds like crap through my cheepys speakers definatly sounds bad pull plugs and check um
if you have no power you definatly lost a cylinder or to time for a short block probably your best bet
From my lil experience...
Piston is no longer on the connecting rod, more than likely shattered.. therefore the rod is just knocking on your cylinder walls everytime the crank turns... this would be what your hearing.
price out a shortblock and go from there. that is not valvetrain noise.... low pitched and slow.... if it were vlavetrain it would be fast paced and more like a tap.
pull the heads and see what damage has been done.
too much boost? crappy hypereutectic piston, they dont like heat..... knock/detonation.....
XP..... really your basic cam.
YAY KABOOM!!
Sucks dude...just do it 3 more time to catch me![]()
