I think I'm going to go with a vs cam. I can leave the stock springs in for now and throw some rockers in with stiffer springs in the future if I decide this doesn't get me back and forth to work fast enough.I'll put in a new chain and dampener while there also.
I have a couple questions if anybody knows. First, when dropping the cradle on the passenger side for the cam, is it possible I'll pop the steering shaft out even if I keep the drop to the absolute minimum? I want to be prepared if it's possible that it falls out even if I do it right. Second, will it be safe to drive this untuned for a few days with a small cam like this? I don't want to blow it up if it needs to be tuned immediately after install. Thanks for any help.
