whats up guys...im having trouble and i feel people on this web site have more knowledge than most machanics. i recently changed my 01 gtp motor to a 99 gtp motor. i swapd the supercharger from the 01 over to the 99, because it didnt come with it. the motor was smooth at first....then something went wrong. i was letting it idle while it was getting inspected, i put the car in reverse and pulld out of the garage, put it in drive and it fumbled and almost died. that worried me alot, seemd fine after. then last night after about a half hour trip the egine light startd flashing, a misfire i beleive. it was spitn and spuddering at idle. machanic said it may have a lazy MAF sensor...whatever that means. the light is on steady now and it still doesnt sound to healthy. i need help, i dont want to blow another motor. i bought the car 2 months ago, finaly got it saturday and have put 150 miles on the new motor. if anyone knows whats going on please let me know. the car is stock to the best of my knowledge and im use 93 octane.

the falashing ses light is a bad misfire and a maf isue could cause some of the issues but not the mis fire

check coils, icm, wires, plugs make sure evrythings in order and snug

id also check the maf by unpluging it if the car runs better then its a maf issue
