Anyone know what initial key-on fuel pressure should be on the 04+ returnless system? Also, if anyone can enlighten me as to where if at all there is a fuel pressure regulator in the system? There is a feed and return on the fuel filter. I've been fighting a cold start issue for a while now and I believe it to be fuel related. It only occurs after the car sits overnight. It's as if fuel pressure bleeds off overnight and will not re-pressurize quickly enough at key-on. I try cycling the key several times before first start and it helps sometimes. Thanks

I'm not sure or the pressure rating but you might be loosing pressure possibly because of the o-rings on injectors were it meets the rail.

My cold start pressure was around 64-65 psi, now with a rewire it sees 68-70 at start up. This is on a N/A pump.

Regulator is in the tank from what I read.

Yeah, I'm not seeing that kind of pressure. Key on once I get like 12 pounds. Key on twice it's in the 40's-50's. Key on a third time and it's in the 60's. That's before I did the re-wire, haven't checked it after that but still no change in how the car starts cold. I'm gonna pull the pump and find out if the FPR is replaceable next time it's sunny and I'm low on gas.

Sounds like your on the way. I need to get back there and run a return line and put a bigger pump. On the list for someday.
