    I have a 2002 (series 2) gp and I blew out my engine so I bought a used engine from a 2004 (series 3) gp I notice the upper intake was different so I'm going to swap then....will this engine work and is there anything else I would wed to change...any advice or suggestion would b great thanks

    it will work fine, but why not use the L26 top end since its aluminum and will never warp like the L36 top end will...

    well i havent checkd it out but i dnt think that the throttle body matches with the intake cuz my old throttle body has the throttle cable connection on it ......the new one does not

    The newer motors are drive by wire, I'd look and see if anyone makes a TB adapter plate. If not then the motor will drop right in with your intake.

    Anywho just go to ZZP and search adapter and it should be the last one on the list of products found.

    the only thing i know you have to swap is the tb and the adapter is like $100 here is a link ZZ Performance
