    Update:

Ontario Quebec Club Grand Prix • View topic - Where is Overkill???

For those who can't read it:

For those asking themselves that question I wanted to appologize for the last few weeks.

There was a death in the family, and along with the grief that surrounds such an event I was also volunteered by family to assist with all manner related responsibilities since most everyone else lives out of town. Last week I was also fighting a bad cold, and just as it was clearing and I was helping clear out the condo I twisted my back and have been either in bed or on the floor for the last 4 days. All in all, it's been a *beep* 3 weeks!

Web orders are up to date excluding orders made last week, and I should be able to ship those on Tuesday. I have been less able to respond to emails in the last 2+ weeks and will work hard to catch up on those! Anyone waiting for an in-vehicle tune I will respond and schedule something with you this upcoming week.

    Thanks for everyone's understanding.

Not doubting Overkills tuning capabilities but honestly the guys a joke. No one make's excuses on why it takes a month to get an email response. It's purely bad business. He's on his own time, and really can care less about his business.

I emailed him, the first time it took him 6 weeks to email back and he answered none of my questions in my original email. I then emailed him again with no response to date. Wonder what his excuse was for the 6 weeks my email went unattended.

ZZP, Intense, 3800 per, w-body store answered me same day! End of story.

this is the difference between someone who does this as a hobby and someone who does this as a full time job.

learn the difference and deal with it or shut up and deal with other vendors.

I just may go with Intense for that reason.

Or just get the DHP bin from nick/blue?

Get an HP tuners suit for ease of use if you want to go that route.

I too ordered an overkill PCM around 2weeks ago, sent 2 emails, havent heard back, but after reading that, I see why.

I've seen what Overkill PCM's do, and I'm more than willing to wait a couple weeks for someone who is a vendor in our community to get better.

Although I do think if there wont be work done, a notice should be posted.

I actually got them and gave them to Reptile. He is the guy with the actual tuner on here...I just happened to have the tuner when we realized that it would read the DHP .bin files. So...PM him if you want a tune...I'm sure he could work something out like he has for a few other people. Thanks Matt. As for cleangtp's comment; I think that was kind of bullsh1t, but its whatever. Everyone has their own opinions...I guess he has no remorse for death.

ok so im stuck between the ported m90 supercharger on 3800performance.com or just getting a new snout and new cuppler from zzp. Is a ported supercharger really worth it. i dont want to port it my self .

A ported Gen 3 is less efficient than a stock unmolested Gen 5 so I'd say just replace the snout and coupler.

overkill is some of if not the best mail order tunes. they go much farther into detail with the tunes than anybody else.

i have talked to will countless times. every time i had an email back that day, sometimes 15mins later. and it was not always pcm related. he helped me with a header install one time.

i have also emailed zzp and got **** 3 word answers, then after a 4-5 emails i would get the answer i was looking for but it was still very brief.

if you are willing to wait, the pcm is worth it.

I do agree about zzp and the short answers, just got one today and didn't get an answer either.
