Ok so i took my IC apart to reseal it with anaerobic sealant this time instead of RTV and found some things. In one section there is quite a bit of oil but in the other sections they are clean. Both the top and bottom plates there is oil in the that one section. should there be that much there? when i set up it puddles to one side that gives me the reason to believe thats too much but i could be wrong? there was a layer in the LIM as well. that normal? Also when i got the plates apart, there was some oil in the section where the core sits.
heres pics. the oil in the LIM, the pics dont do justice by showing it but i tried to get a pic to show anyways.

Here u can see the oil im talking about in this section of pcv passage. This is on the top plate on the rear of the IC.

This pic is also of the top plate with oil. But u can also see a little residue on the plate where the core sets. how is oil gettin there?

Here is the bottom plate. also with oil in the passage just like the top plate.

Could this be that the pcv valve needs replaced? I almost wanna run an external pcv setup now but dont know how to setup. If someone that has a full external pcv setup on there intercooled gen V or gen III setup feel free to enlighten me on how to do it and pics would be great.

look forward to all of u helping me out.

    Thanks,
    Colin

so a correction on my part. The only passage that has oil is clearly not one of the PCV passages. I was looking at both plates and there are no channels leading to it which my guess is its just there for weight reduction as to why its cut out. the actual PCV passage hole for the rear bank is right next to it. Which therefore means the IC was not correctly sealed. Oil residue is also on the outlet of the supercharger. So could that possibly mean a leak from the top and seeping in to the area that has oil in it from the PCV since its literally right next to that?

sorry if thats confusing to anyone but just look at the above pics and u will understand what im talking about.

oil in that area comes from one place: the PCV.

if it would be some carbon or any other type of buildup it would come from the EGR. if youre getting blowby enough to have oil up in the lower intake and intercooler then something is very wrong. therefore, i blame your PCV.

thats why i think that had to have been oil seeping through the PCV hole thats right next to that section that doesnt even involve anything with PCV meaning the IC wasnt completely sealed.

I disconnected the hose from my throttle body thats between the throttle blade and maf, blow air through it and i could feel the air coming through the oil fill out the front valve cover so i assumed that the pcv was working properly.

    maybe replace the PCV valve???
