IMO the coldairinductions box looks way better, visually and structurally. While I've never had an issues with the bungy cord setup, I would tend to agree with you. Which one do you own?

Honestly I think that's just a looks thing. The bungies hold it down pretty well, as anyone who's ever put them on knows (especially the one closest to the fender). My main complaint with the WizAired is that the box could be less flimsy. I haven't had any issues yet with the duct so I can't complain.

i have the wiziarid and well yea it is a little flimsy and well no i havent had a problem with the bungie cords. i actually shorted mine so they tighten better but i would still think bolts would be better. the other cai box LOOKS really sturdy and well built but its just a picture so who knows.

Had I not just had a stay in the hospital and will likely have to pay out my insurance plan max out of pocket ($2000) I would get one of those. To tell the truth I forgot where to buy them when I bought my third Wizaired a year ago.

I gave one to my son for his GTP, so I had to buy myself the newer version with the better looking lid. Hmm, other than the one I have now I guess I've had two others besides the one I gave my son. One of those was a used one thogh. Long storys, but none had to do with the Wizaired itself.

I contacted cold air inductions and they are performing a updated box and it should be avaibale the 28th of this month. I will be purchasing one on the 28th and will update the board on the product.

Not: I will be putting in a 2007 GP GT (GTP) 3.8L Supercharged

I was going to do a FWI but I think I may just spend the cash on the CAI setup. Only down side is I have to buy a coolant bottle also. I have heard so much good stuff about the wizaired but damn it looks horrible. That silver drier duct tube or whatever looks like crap. I think I will try the Cold Air Inductions. It looks much nicer.

I could care less how it looks. It's the most efficient at doing its job. Its a silicone tubing, with a wire support, coated in a reflective insulator.

In short, it does a much better job than some black rubber intake tubing, and it's not a "drier vent".

My bad. I have never seen one in person. You have to admit it looks like the stuff running off the back of your drier.

I may look into the JBM FWI. Looks like some guys have a horrible time installing them tho.

The JMB was what I almost bought before I bought the WizAired. I just don't like having to bend and drill parts of my car.

How much did you have to cut? Some guy on wbodystore apparently cut something completely off because he said his front bumper sticks out past the fender now. I'm guessing be completely cut the brace off or something.

The JBM would be nice because I would not have to get a new coolant bottle.

yea i had to cut the fenderwell support off...where the bumper meets the fender right behind the cornerlight...if you push there...yes it is flimsy but im real picky and it doesent bother me...except when i was doing it...it bothered me a little when i was doing it but now i dont even notice it...i mean nothings changed structually with the car....i think he must of cut his with a sawzall and mangled thing up lol....just take ur time...and not with a sawzall

Ive got a Thrasher CAI. It looks nice, but its definitely not worth the money. Next time I'll just make my own FWI and spend the money elsewhere.

    It's the JMB.

Another reason I didn't go with it is the lack of easy access to the filter. Didn't feel like going in to the fender for it. The WizAir lid pops off in about three seconds.
