Re: MY 3.4" Pulley & Supporting Mods
I wouldn't run method unless you havd a Gen V or are spraying after the blower otherwise there goes your rotor coating. Do you have a WizAired yet?

whoever told you that methanol or ethanol are even remotely corrosive should be beaten. the rotor coating only comes off because the coating was done incorrectly, not because of any foreign exposure.
Re: MY 3.4" Pulley & Supporting Mods
And even then, chances are that the rotors are already peeling on their own.

Nope. Does that affect KR at all?
I used to have a FWI but took it out because I got more concerned about sacrificing filtering for air flow. After working at a parts counter for a while I saw plenty of issues caused by air filter oil fouling up intake sensors so I put my stock air box back in. I didn't see any real noticeable gains with a CAI anyway. I read that the flow with the stock air box is about 800 cfm which I was told is plenty unless you are running serious mods (which I'm obviously not). I was thinking about gutting the air box and doing a dryer-hose type mod that goes from the fender up to the air box since it'd be easy and I could only stand to gain from that because the thicker filter is still in place. I talked to a couple old-timers who have years of rodding experience and they agreed.
I know there are plenty of you all who will disagree and that's fine. I just want to be on the safe side is all.

LOL what does that have to do with killing KR? Nothing. Proven...by many people that run meth...it DOES NOT eat up rotors.

:th_laugh-lol2: Very concise.
So colder plugs, headers, and meth are my only options for KR reduction that I haven't already done?

I already said a WizAired but I know that will just be ignored. Pretty much anything that doesn't consist of spinning the supercharger faster will reduce KR

It doesn't. The rotors are coated improperly from the factory so any will eventually start to peel.
