Ok, so that tells us that the gauge is getting juice directly connected. Not that you want to run a new wire in your pod... that's the direction I would be thinking of. But its odd that it would work before. Maybe take our your oil gauge and replace it with the WB?
In my Gauge pod... I have one postive wire, one negative, and one dimmer +. Its hooked up to the first gauge.. then daisy-chained to the next one... and then the next one. I assume this is how you connected it at first. Do your other gauges come on?
