Anything I should know? I'm using the writeup on gpona
make sure to do it in a an area where it will piss off the most people
I did my neighbors truck a couple years ago and someone called the fire department saying it was on fire
Autolite's are great plugs...to hell with NGK's...copper plugs FTMFW...as for the Seafoaming...yes...OPEN AREA for sure. Where are you planning on running it into? I'd put that stuff in every opening possible...gas tank, vacuum lines, TB, oil...
You put it in the middle vac line on the blower instead of the brake booster right?
I seafoamed a week ago before the oil change put it in at the brake booster vac hose it still smoked like a freight train
i do this once a year and still get a good amount of smoke. I change the plugs and oil a couple days later
i don't know what the writeup says, but it helps to have someone help you. The person starts the car with the brake booster line off, and you start pouring the seafoam into the line, but not all at once, do it gradually. The car will fight to stay running, but the person in the car should give the car more gas to keep the engine from dying. Once you finish pouring, have the person shut off the car and sit for 5 minutes. then start it back up after the brake booster is back on, and enjoy the smoke show
Yeah I've got friends here helpin me. Its soakin in right now, maybe ill get a vid of the smoke.
I guess I should probly do mine too
Pour it in the gas tank and let it sit for a few minutes...then run the tank dry (yeah I know it isn't GREAT on the pump) and change your fuel filter and put in a full tank of new gas and change the oil anyways. I'd run a 1/2 bottle in the gas tank, 1/4 in the brake booster and toss the rest in the oil...get ready for a full tune up...plugs/wires/PCV/F.F./oil/O.F.
roca, shoot me an email. tyler.beavers@hotmail.com
i can forward you the seafoam instructions
