The green calipers are Gold now and my rims are going to be powdercoated gloss black. Why would I debadge it? Thanks for your input. Everyone else whos seen my car in person loves my blackout scheme, Especially hot girls. I realize its different and thats exactly what I'm shooting for so if you don't like it, GOOD, I wasn't trying to impress you.

I plan on painting the silver between the tailpipes gloss black too. I am also getting a Black and Gold Pontiac Arrow for the front.

Did they offer to go for a "ride" with you for money? 'Cuz "hot girls" do not tend to gravitate to couple-thousand dollar rides, chief...I don't care how much black spray paint you use!

To each his own, but when you put it out there on the internet you best have thicker skin than that and be prepared to be criticized.

Hahahaha I'm just talking high school babes. BTW the blackout look might become cliched but I have never seen one like mine around where I live and I have never seen a black and gold color scheme on any car. The MIDNIGHT SPECIAL on the side is what gave me the idea to go black and gold. I have owned a few street bikes and one was a 1980 Yamaha XS850 Midnight Special edition. This meant that the engine was black instead of the normal silver, Everything was black actually and it had gold accents, like the gas tank cap was gold, the ring around the headlight was gold, and the rims were gold. To each his own is a good saying cuz I love it when people know its me the second they see or hear that blacked out GTP with the obnoxiously loud bumps in the trunk.

I plan on getting the rims powdercoated gloss black, then the gold calipers will stick out. One thing I've always thought about doing is getting the grills to look like mirror Gold. Also painting the lower silver deal in the front Gold.

This bluegtp91 guy thinks hes something special. I graduated high school a year ago dumba$$.
