new coolant elbow loose ?

I'm in the middle of changing the coolant elbow and the new one is way loose? Is this right? It fits but slides right out. I would hate to get this back together just to leak. Thanks guys

Coming in and out easy is ok. Just make sure it does not have a lot of play side to side and up and down.
