So...you'd rather have a slow Cobalt SS vs. a Veyron? Kinda what it sounds like there...

Sorry, did not mean to say the Triple Edge Performance stock tranny was a waste, I meant just the opposite. I said it wrong. I guess everyone's beginning point is different.

True that some cars still need the 4T65E-HD (MN7) High Performance Street/Strip for $1649.95

But given that some people, who's cars may already have (as you do) the Street/Strip 4T65E-HD mentioned above, may want to "build on that base" by spending "another" $2000 and prepare for "another transformation" (as many members here have) by taking their setup to the next level.

I was thinking in limited terms, about how to spend "another" $2000.00. Quite the contrary, my comment WOULD apply (mostly) to you, but not because you think, because you already ARE where you ARE NOW! I wish I could go backwards 2 months in time and get the transaxle you now have, (when mine was rebuilt this month). But I can't.

"Triple Edge Performance" who built your tranny IS who I wish I had bought the rebuild from and who I would now buy the "Hard Parts" (stuff) from. I would because, well... Dave (Trannyman95) makes sense when he talks. Dave talks about 4T65E and 4T65E-HD and that’s what we all have.

Some things I thought about doing were, those posted. It was a thought, that’s all. I was just saying. LOL

BTW I am "Supercharged" (Not Turbo'ed) in case anyone was wondering

Is that directed at me? If so no, I wouldn't prefer a cobalt ss over a veryon, I would however prefer a car that I love every aspect of, which is why I plan to build mine to my needs, and my likes, and I encourage everyone to do the same. Don't buils your car on someone else's prefrences, build it to be what YOU want, and only that.

I'd agree...IF the OP wasn't asking our opinion in what to do to his car.

Giving an opinion is one thing, but turning the thread into a full blown turbo vs super charger war is another. Just sayin.

Ya if i was you i would invest in a built trans and rebuild the 3800 with a cam. It gives you a good base for expansion and eliminates the problems with the higher mileage engines. If you want to push some power a fresh motor takes ALOT more abuse than a getting tired motor.. Oh and its kinda a pain to put a cam in the car with the motor still in it, if you already have it out its makes life alot simpler

I just realized something, No one will be able to see the details on my sexy car if I'm moving too fast! Lol

Ok my original plan was to post up some pics of my GTP which I have never done, cuz I know how cool pics are to look at! But I cannot even come close to figuring out how to get the pictures off of my computer onto this forum. Can someone tell me how or show me a thread that does?

Ok So I got my pics onto a photo bucket album and I tried using the image uploader on here with all 4 styles that photobucket gives you. (Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML Code, IMG Code) and none of them worked. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance

Photobucket is being gay right now. You need to go to the bulk uploader it will work. It has a little link to it right under the normal upload button:
