Ok, so I made my pulley puller. I prob. WAY over engineered it. I made it out of 1/2" plate steel. It has 4 perimeter bolts (5/16") For the center bolt, I used a standard puller bolt that had a hole in the center. I TIG welded an 8 mm stud to the end of it. I made a "bearing plate" out of a used bearing and a washer. I'll take pics. and load them. I won't get to try it till this weekend. I hope the 1/2" plate isn't too thick to fit behind the pulley, as I built this with the supercharger elsewhere. Think I'll be ok?

Hopefully 1/2" is thick enough not to bend. I originally used 3/8" steel and it bent like tin foil. My second design (above) is now 1" aluminum.

wow, what size are your four little bolts? 5/16-3/8? I can't see this thing bending... but, like I said, I never took one of these off. I honestly had to sit and think about how it was going to work.

In the above post they are 3/8". That pic is not the current design, i added more bolts to the top section so that firmed it up quite a bit.

It takes 6 tons of pressure to remove the pulley btw.

either way, that's alot. I guess this bearing idea should work pretty good then. Does it go on that hard?

No the new pulley goes on easy. Just put some anti seize on there.
