    Not sure where this belongs.

Ok so I am Looking to up grade the Stereo system in my 97 GTP.

Currently i have a Rockford Fosgate Stereo, and my CD changer is coming tomorrow. I wanna replace all the Speakers with the Rockford "Punch" speakers.

so I need to know all the sizes. I believe the at least 2 of the larger ones in the back are 6x9 and i know the tweeters in the door are 1"

I herd rumors that the GTP came with a bose 8 speaker set up...

So yea, My question is, What size are the door panel speakers, and where are the other 2 speakers im missing...

you have 6"x9" speakers and 5.25" speakers. there are no more, and if you had a bose system then youd have an amp in your trunk.

if you have bose, theres more speakers in the rear besides the 6x9's. i believe they are 4", mine have been out for a while now so im not 100% on the size. not sure if the non bose had them or not.

the non bose has some pretty small speakers in the rear in addition to the 6x9's. The 6x9's act like a subwoofer in that setup and there is an amp under the glove box.

Well, i got my 6x9s and my 5.25s today..put the 6x9's in the back only to discover that the previous owner put in some pioneers....HE USED CAULK TO HOLD THEM IN PLACE!!!
so after getting all that crap out and putting my new rockford fosgates in I noticed they wernt playing anything. So the wires are all jacked up and dont play anything, so i cut into the 4s and just put the 6x9s into them....so i guess tomorrow every things coming out again, buying a good 200 feet of speaker wire and rewiring everything myself, b/c idiot people cant take care of their cars!!!

And putting my other rockfords in the doors...I would have done it all today, but its snowing and i work 3rds.

But seriously, why do i buy cars that are so nice when i see them, but when i get to doing stuff, i find out its all N***ER Rigged....

Also I got to put in a new battery in yesterday b/c it died..good times..got to miss birthing class thou!!

Ok so i was lookiing at this: Grand Prix Wiring Diagram
And it appears to have nothing for the 4" Rear speakers..so is it safe to assume that they are wired up along with the 6x9s?? that doesn't make sense to me. but if im wrong tell me
