Will the LS1 style retainers work with the 90# LS6 springs? I'm ordering all this stuff from zzp. Here's my list and tell me if I'm forgetting anything please!

    1. 1.9 ratio modified rockers
    2. 90# springs
    3. LS1 style steel retainers
    4. Valve seals
    5. Comp Cams re-useable rocker arm bolts
    6. New Valve cover gaskets (mine leak a little anyways)

For a grand whopping total of $505 +shipping and Installation.

    Yeah, list looks okay

you don't really need 90#'s for a just a rockerd setup

I use L76 valve springs with my 1.9 rollers, they work well. Most will say you can just run your stock springs with the modded rockers.

The stronger the spring...the more you'll be able to rev the crap outta it. I had #90's with my XP setup running well up to 6500 with no issues evah...and I was mean to it. IMO, get Crow #105's. btw...who is installing it? You can't tackle a spring/rocker swap? just wondering...

PRJ is gonna do the install. I seem to have more money than time these days, not to mention that the price is more than fair.
