I don't see why you couldn't put a slip fit 3" converter in there...then have it welded or clamp it.

The downpipe is 3" so thats what fits...
That or its easier to just put the cat on and leave it there rather than worry about a $1000 fine and having to put one back on every two years for an e-test.Quote:

here's a fitting question amidst the topic: is a high flow cat beneficial over the stock one?
Over stock...yes. Will it net you any more gains? No. Will it sound louder than stock? Yes...you won't notice it though because you just put headers on your car...that'll make it sound much better anywho ;) BTW...when are you buying them so we can put them on :D
