So my catalityc converter is not working properly but this is not something that is making me upset its actually making me really freaking happy. The reason for this is because its going to obligated me to change my whole exhuast. I have been doing my research on the top web sites for what it looks right now its i am looking to replace and get headers, high flow catalitic converter.
    SLP Exhaust Headers - W-body - $769.99 in Pfyc.com
SLP Performance Parts Coated Exhaust Headers - 689.99 in 3800performance.com
    Stainless headers - $689.99 zzperformance.com

This is the price range i am trying to stay at in. So you guys have any input to what i need and what i should do. Remember the thing that i have to replace is only the catalityc converter which is like 400 dollars for the stock so i wanna upgrade to headers and highflow catatalityc converter and stay in the 700 to 800 hundred range please leave some input in what i should do.

get some ssac's or pacerusters and a high flow magnaflow cat and enjoy No use in spending all kinds of money on headers when they all do basically the same thing

What is going to give you more power? Different header brands? No. Cat or no cat? Maybe 1 horsepower. Deleting the cat is all for sound.

The thing is that i am not planning on deleting my cat i am just looking to replace it with a better flowing one plus if i dont have a cat i would probably not pass the inspection here in massachusetts. U know thats were i worry cause i do want to be driving it legally on the road. What brands of headers would u recommend ?? cause thats the only ones i was looking that fit a grand prix comp g 2004.

the ssac's will fit a comp g, they are the cheapest headers that require no midification to use them without leaks.

^^Exactly...any sort of 97-03 header will fit a 04+ car...

As for the cat...just buy the headers...(or save your money and have someone take off the stock cat and gut it with a pipe and have them REinstall it) and install them catless...then go to a local shop and have a universal one welded in on teh cheap.

If you do not have a cat it will throw a cat code. You will want to get some nice band clamps for the headers.

You can either have someone delete the code or put a cat on. They have a section of straight pipe that can be replaced with a cat. Here is a band clamp.

OOhh ok so i think i am going to have the cat cause mass sucks for inspections or see if someone can delete the code. Hmm this is hard lol but thanks for the info For this i would not need a down pipe correct ? cause i know if u go with powerlogs you have to get a down pipe.

THe headers will come with a down pipe. They have a piece of straight pipe in the down pipe that you can replace with a cat if you want.
