Thread: CAI and the computer

I was thinking about a CAI for my 97 GTP. I know I have to get the 99 coolant bottle, but I was curious as to what guys are doing with the computer. The thing is just shoved in the airbox. Mounting it in the engine bay? Extending the harness and putting it inside?

Set it there. You can zip tie it...or get a PCM tray from a S10/Sonoma. Get exhaust work before bringing more air into the engine though.

i had one from a blazer in my car.

Mine just sits there. Has been fine for over a year.

poor pcm just sittin there rattlin.. i cut apart my stock airbbox and used that to hold it in place

just bungie tie it down or something. you dont need anything holding it there. it doesnt move.
