Took a few days working on it on and off to get done, any other single working parents out there know how it is to work on their vehicle. Straight through it could be done in half a day.
Nothing complicated about the install, need to remove bones and ratchet strap the motor foreward to get to the rear. For the front rocks remove belt tensioner/bone connectiondevicepiecebeast to get to the front. If you have ADD like me, keep your pieces organized when you take them off or you'll double your time searching for ess when it goes back on. A 3/8 Ratcheting wrench, lots of sockets, an extension and ratchet strap was all it took me.
The only exhaust change I noticed was up at high rpm's, perhaps because I already have PLOG/rearPEM - 3'' cat'd d/p - stock 2.5'' exhaust.
Performance wise it pulls a little harder but I wasn't impressed. However I take into consideration last time I got on it a few days ago the air temp was consistantly 24*- 32* and when I went out day it was 48* -52* and boost maxed at 12.8- v 13.5+ so that could explain the lack of fortitude.
For the money I'd say its worth . Paid 225 shipped for the used 1.9's bolts/pedestol/rockers so stock everything else. I recommend to anyone with any technical skill who doesn't plan on going the CAM route soon.
At this point would it be benefitial for me to upgrade the exhaust??
