I was wondering if anyone has pictures of their s/c blades or the inside of the housing. I noticed that the blades on my s/c are a little rough around the edges and looks like they might have ground the casing.

So if anyone can show me some pics if they have them of how your casing and s/c blades looked before you cleaned them up or after, thatd be great.

I'll try and get some pictures of them up tomorrow hopefully.
Also how do i figure out if my s/c bearings for the blades are worn?
    Thanks for the help

Do not take the black coating off the rotors or they are junk. Thats what makes them seal.

Minimal wear on the edge of the rotors where they contact the case is normal, but if it is deeply gouged, you have a problem.

the black coating around the edges of the rotors or on the actual blades, cause it looks like theres a bunch of carbon buildup or something all over the rotors and the inside of the housing

The coating is all over the rotors. Just wipe them off with a rag if you want to clean them.

ok, so then I'll take that also that you dont want to put it in a wash bin either. is there anything to use for cleaning the rotors off, or should i just use soap and water to get it off

also how do i take out the bearings that are in the housing, the housing is safe to put in the parts washer correct?

You can use brake cleaner or degreaser to clean off the carbon, wont hurt the rotor coating. If it comes off it was going to in your motor either way. Doesnt look bad ive seen worse and that will make boost.

You have to press them out, with a grease gun

Those look perfectly normal, even with some of the coating coming off.

By pressing them out, he means that you have to drill, and then tap the two holes in the bottom of the case, then insert a grease zerk, then pump the chamber behind the bearings full of grease.

D*mn that sounds like a whore. so i looked at the case and there's 2 holes in the housing that are behind the bearings already ARE NOT tapped. is that where I put the grease fittings

Yep. I had a link saved at one time with all the things needed, but a virus took that away. Luckily for me I built a tool to do it, and it's kinda a pain because you have to use so much grease, and then it's a big damn mess...but apparently that's the only way to do it.

DONT CLEAN THEM. LEAVE THE ROTORS ALONE!

why do you people think cleaning them is a good idea? that "carbon buildup" is making you more boost. LEAVE IT THERE!

welp too late, cleaned them all and have the bearings out, I'll post pictures tomorrow, everyone at work keeps telling me that the case is shot cause it looks like there's grooves in it, but I think it might be ok?

Like I said I'll take pictures tomorrow and post them so you guys can let me know.
