Ok so my problem is my ABS light and TCS light won't go off.. i've read a few things about this but why when i spin the wheels the engine bogs down but the "TCS OFF" light is lit.. kinda confusing me.. i hate it cause when i try to race my wheels spin and my car slows itself down and it ruins my run.. What could that be? please help me out.. i wanna take my car to a shop so they can run it thru a scanner.. but is it supposed to bog down when the Traction control off light is one???? thanks

First verify that all your tire size's are correct.
If they aren't,or different between corners then it will cause the traction control to flag.

The ABS light and Trac light is probably on because of a bad wheel bearing. Have the car scanned to determine which one if bad and replace it. Most garages will scan the ABS codes for little money.

Well first off i have 20" rims.. but the light has been on since i've had the car when it had the stocks on and they were brand new all the same size and tire..

Not always true. When my lights came on it was my ABS module having loose wires. I removed the module and made sure everything was clean and secure. Reinstalled the module and haven't seen a light since.Originally Posted by Bio248

x2 the wires to wheel speed sensor dry rotted in my case... broke in half... spliced back together it works now.

when i had your exact problem, it was caused by a break in the wire between the right front bearing and the computer
