I'd get new VC gaskets since your gonna be in there...

And yes...105#'s springs are just fine...but...are they comp springs? god I hope not.

Comp springs suck...they break...I'd rather return them and not take the chances with my valvetrain components breaking...or maybe thats just me?

Get Crow 105's, GM LS6 Yellow's, or nothing.

well like i said im not sure 100% which springs they are sending me. but ill keep all the advice in mind thanks guys. also, how tough is it to change springs and retainers? i know you need a special tool... but is it somethin i should leave to a pro, or once i get the tool i should be fine? and rus.. yes im very excited to see the gains. i know when i did the plog/dp/3.6 i was impressed... now it will be those plus the 1.95s and probably a 3.4 =) but im thinkin im gonna need a custom tune... how much do you think a dhp 1.0 would be holdin me back after the setup is done?

custom tuning would be the way to go if you could. try the 3.4 and see what it does (scaning wise) and go from there.

you can do the springs yourself. a pin magnent and a little bit of assembly lube is a good idea to help try and not lose any keepers. but its pretty simple.
