Since the old motor is toast I took the time to get a like new shortblock L32 from Morad Parts Co. My question is, do I need to swap the old L67 steel oilpan over to the L32 instead of using the aluminum oilpan it came with so it can fit into my 2000 and clear the cradle?

Pic of the motor and oilpan in question (its out of a 2006)

Oil pan is a little bigger on the engines front side. You might have to shave a little off the cradle if you have the steel cradle. You can just swap the l67 pan on it. Good time to do it so you can get a new gasket in there.
