Please only submit 1 thread thank you. And if thats your case i guess you can take your plastic covers of the steering wheel and take the cylinder lock out and clean her up and see if that does it? Good Luck

i have the same issue....again! it could bet he key having too much weight, and slightly tilts it causing it to stick. but then again, the btsm could be dead...but that doesnt happen a lot. do you have lots of keys on your ring?

spare key?...whats that? lol. so im guessin the teeth are just a little worn out some. if i cut a new key, it would be modeled after the one i have, and probably wouldnt be any better...lol. but sweet, maybe i can find my wifes old key...it hasnt been used as much as mine.

there is a white plastic soleniod valve to the front of the ignition under the cover. rip it out and throw it away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate those things and that allowed me to use the regular key again.

remove the big white solenoid. it is what lets the key release. its 2 phillips screws and a plug and it comes right out. my car just did this this past week and its fixed
