for a gt just go with 3 inch PVC piping...and I would route it to your fenderwell personally but you can mount it however you prefer and put a cone filter on...

4" and stick the filter as far into the fender as you can. 4" or nothing...3" is lame.

just an fyi with pvc pipe. when it gets hot it will give some. even if you clamp the hell out of it, it will still come loose eventually. when i pulled it apart the end was clearly bent in. might wanna use some sealer or something along with clamping it.

hmmmm "eventually" must be longer then 4 years cuz thats how long i had one in my cavalier without issue.. grand prix's going on a year now....

what are you trying to say will give? the pvc pipe will collapse?? if so, how thin of pipe were you using? 1/4 inch thick ftw

it was just an fyi man take it how you want to.... i hooked mine up then a few weeks later the car starting acting up. poped the hood and the filter had fallen off. where i had the pvc pipe going into my 22* elbow, it just slid out there also and was not air tight.

its a proven fact pvc gets flemsy under heat. at what temp it does that, idk.

and yes it was 1/4 inch

just a personal experience ive had with pvc that im sharing. dont get your panties in a wad
